Everyone is saying how Hart better have a counteroffer to UL's counteroffer..... Why didn't we play the role of The Godfather and "make him an offer he can't refuse" in the first place??!!! Personally, I am glad that Gundy turned us down and it was all a ploy anyways to get some kind of commitment back from Ok. St. (primarily from the AD)! He simply used us to get that, just like Gruden used us to talk about him and dream about him and all that mess (again, I admit, I was one of those)!! I think Strong would be a great hire, one that we should have ended the search with and one that I feel will be the Cuonzo Martin of SEC football!!! Hart is causing this search to be a DEBACLE!!!
