Another good read. Thanks guys. You make Monday mornings so much better.

I totally agree with you BillBattleVol. Whether NSD yields some pleasant surprises or a few disappointments, these guys did a great job in a short period of time. We’re already getting some positive feedback from 2014 recruits, so I remain optimistic that these guys will get some great players in the years to come, particularly with an appropriate amount of time to be able to build those quality relationships. An interesting comment was made on the radio this morning that once the previous regime saw the writing on the wall regarding their futures that recruiting pretty much took a backseat, leaving CBJ and Co. all the more ground to make up. Hats off to them for their efforts. They brought several big time players to the table with limited time and gave them something to think about. They also did a tremendous job repairing some relationships with TN HS coaches that CDD and staff let fall by the wayside. Next year we start winning some of those close battles!

Always good info. Ready for signing day to get over with and move on. Really looking forward to seeing improvement in the baseball program.

Sounds like Bell and Miller might wrap up this year's class.
bUTchin' VIP today guys! Wanted to add something to the Jaylen Miller recruitment. I haven't seen anything on it here but if so, then just ignore my post. It was mentioned that when Jaylen and family snuck up to UT last weekend on an UV that a teammate had accompanied them. I posted in another thread last week that the teammate was Gaffney junior QB Shaq Davidson. Davidson is the 247Sports top rated player in SC, #5 WR in the nation, and #58 prospect overall. He moved to QB midseason after Gaffney started out 3-3 and they won out including the SC state championship. Davidson already has offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Georgia, UNC, NCSU, Wake Forest, Alabama State, USCe, and ND. Probably shouldn't read anything into him accompanying Miller but it sure couldn't hurt the Vols' chances if he was on campus. Hopefully Miller will get him up here a few more times. I am sold that Miller is a Vol and he will confirm that Wednesday. Over the course of the next couple of days I believe that we, as VFLs, will experience a wide range of emotions leading to NSD. But when that day gets here, may we all experience elation over the work that our BCRT and CBJ has done since their arrival. Orange baby. GO VOLS!
