I'm glad to see that we will have a presence in Northwest Florida in recruiting. From what I hear of Ansley he should do a great job. I also know that Jay Graham recruited the Panhandle area for South Carolina as I had an enjoyable conversation with him at a Fort Walton Beach spring game a couple of years ago.

A few players to watch from Crestview High School are Denzel Ware, Dillon Lawson and Micah Reed. Ware is a rising junior defensive end/outside linebacker and Lawson is a rising senior at the same positions. Word is Florida has offered both of them. Reed will be a senior running back next year and, from what I've heard, is being evaluated by the Gators.

In my opinion though the sleeper of the group is a kid named Tyler Henderson, who will be a senior next year. Henderson, a defensive back/running back/receiver, won't blow you away with his size, but he has better than average speed and he loves to hit. But the best part of his game is when he has the ball in his hands in the open field after an interception or fumble recovery. The kid has a way of making people miss him that is uncanny.

Henderson has started every game since his freshman year in football and baseball and is just a special athlete.
