FWIW.....a good friend of mine (that used to recruit with and is still friends with Meyer) has told me before that Urban is a ruthless, dirty ba$ta*% when it comes to recruiting. But most already know that.

Just wanted to say "good game" to all of you UT fans on the Vonn Bell recruitment. I thought for sure you guys had him up until he announced. Goodluck in the future and hopefully you guys can turn it around, because I sure hate Alabama and Florida.

Well the SEC team he was considering has had back-to-back losing seasons and Bama stopped recruiting him

Ohio State currently has 39 NFL players opposed to 30 Tennessee. OSU had 4 players in this past superbowl as opposed to 2 UT, small sample size, not very meaningful. This year pro bowl, UT-6 OSU-1, again, small sample size -> not very meaningful. No idea how any of this will turn out for Mr. Bell, but to use the NFL as an argument for Tennessee over OSU is not a very good one... Tennessee has had great success putting its players into the NFL, but so does OSU. All time- OSU 378 NFLers and 6 HOFers, Tennessee 290 NFLers and 2 HOFers.
