Vandy has interest in Bruce

Just Nashville sports talk radio fodder at this point but my son reports it is being mentioned that Vanderbilt has interest in talking to Bruce Pearl about their basketball HC job.

To me he is anyone's... and Candy, Bama and Kentucky are nobody's... so he is off limit to them.

Still has a year left on his show cause and I don't know how many people would want to work for him...he really threw his assistants under the bus.

He hated it as visiting coach. Big, big advantage for Vandy.

If he does go back to coaching, I would hope it's not in the SEC. It would be weird seeing him on an opposing bench.

Exactly right. I have no doubts that he will coach again when the show cause expires, probably even in a high profile school, but BP has made quite a few enemies, from opposing teams to his own assistants and will probably have a tough road for the first few years back.
I still love the guy, though, sorry. Just can't help it. Go Vols!

I've got a feeling that it will resume anyway. Hart has pretty much said no basketball series, no football series. Tiger High really needs the revenue and exposure from playing UT in football. We hold the winning hand.
