I find this move somewhat surprising since I thought that Coach Martin didn't want any more combo guards and was more intent on finding a pure point guard.

My question to Wes, is where does this leave Q. Chievous. I have heard great things from you all season that this kid can jump out of the roof and was really improving. Now we will have McCrae, Richardson, Edwards, Moore, and Chievous in that combo roll while McBee still plays out at the 2. Not sure I wouldn't have kept the scholly in the pocket until 2013 but then again I am not being paid to coach the team.

It does seem like there's going to be a backlog of players at the 2/3. I was hoping they'd find a pure PG and move Golden out to the 2 more.

Mcrae Richardson and Reese could play the three. If I had yo guess next year Richardson will start at the three

Sources indicate Martin is very happy with Golden at point and intends to keep him there for the next couple of seasons. The information is he feels Golden will get better and better and will be one of the better piont guards in the SEC next season.

dont know why he doesnt play him at the 2 or 3 and use the PG he has on campus now although he cant play until Jan 1 ; i know Martin as already said he is playing Golden at point but ,....,

I assume you saw the other thread(s) where Coach Martin said there was nothing to the rumors.

at PG vols are also happy with transfer Stanton I believe is his name... So no PG probably needed right now.. Although if Wes is gone, they will prob go after big time PG next season is my guess
