Man, that is a young team. And 2 freshman pitchers starting tomorrow. But it sounds like the bats are there and they played hard for 9 innings. Toss loss for our BaseVols. Better luck on Saturday. GO VOLS!

No closer means no wins in tight games..That's just the reality of it, the same issues that plagued UT last season are rearing their ugly head again..I hope this is just a bump in the road and not a constant this season.

We have a pretty serious problem right now in baseball. Vandy is so far ahead of us and Corbin has very good relationshipss with many of the good state high school baseball coaches. Hiring Serrano was a home run though. He knows what it takes to get us to the next level. It is just going to take a while.

Serrano might as well have started with an expansion team with the way Raleigh left this team. I can tell we are on the right track but patience is in order here.
