Vols, give Larry Fedora a look

  • He's a young fireball, as well as an up and comer. He'd be a great fit in my opinion. What do y'all think?

  • I'd rather keep Dooley. With Dooley being gone after three years, we have to have a huge hire like Gruden, Stoops, Fisher(Jeff or Jimbo), Chip Kelley. And there may be some other top guys. but even good coaches like Golden, Strong and Patterson aren't really even good enough for me. We absolutely have to have someone who is wanted by everyone.

    I can understand that. Just remember Urban Meyer was at Bowling Green before hitting it big. I really hope y'all knock it out of the park with this hire.

    So...Utah at that time was "hitting it big"? I would disagree with that assertion.

    Oh I'm braced lol I just think anything besides a home run hire is a bad decision. I'm not actually a home run hire unfortunately.

    His team just gave up 68 points to a Ga. Tech team that lost at home to Middle Tennessee State. They also made Logan Thomas from Va. Tech look like a Heisman contender in a game that I attended. We need a guy that can coach and can coach some defense too. No Thanks to Fedora.

    If those are the names for you, unfortuantely, I think you're going to be disappointed. Jeff Fisher, Chip Kelly, Stoops...really? No reason to even mention those names and get your hopes up.

    Not a great pick in my mind... I graduated from southern miss, and he was the coach while I was there. He doesn't know how to use players correctly. We had a big time recruit receiver that seemed to get two targets a game. It was like having CP on the field for the looks! Drove me crazy! Coaches like dooley in my mind, not able to make tough and good calls.
