Why wait Dillon? Join the other Vol Legacies (Wharton,TKJ,and Creamer - hopefully Berry Twins), form a brotherhood and start recruiting to help the Vols get that Big Orange Locomotive barrelling down Rocky Top again!

I like the fact Bama offered late not that I think it matters, I think Dillon is all Vol God knows his dad is and while he may wait I think he commits sooner rather than later and joins the rest of the Legacys in helping recruit a top 5 class. Just win and this class will be awesome.

Bill Bates may have hated Bama when he played against them or when UT played against them, but he loves his son. Bill Bates wants what's best for his son. That is why they will sincerely check out the big-time schools. Like it or not, Bama has done what everybody hopes to do: they have built a dominant dynasty. They have great players and great coaches. If Dillon thinks that will be the place that will give him the best coaching and the best chance to go pro, then he will wear Crimson next year. It sucks, but it's true. So, these coaches are faced with the same challenge that will face them as long as they coach at Rocky Top, to show that they can coach and play with the best of the best. Show that and we will land the big fish like Dillon Bates.

My guess is Mr. Bates wants to see the Vols on the field with other teams. Can't blame him. The proof is in the pudding.

Let's just put it this way....we are in excellent position to land a solid linebacker. Can't ask for anything more. The other legacies are going to make it tough for him to choose another school.

we can stand toe to toe with Bama or anyone with facilities and atmosphere on a visit. Check it out all you want, if there's orange running through his veins (and it sounds like there may be) then he'll see the opportunity here and make all of us and dad happy.
