In case you haven't noticed — but surely you have — Derek Dooley seems much more confident heading into his third season as UT's coach. His players have definitely noticed.

I for one love the new confidence in dooley it makes me want this season to start as soon as possible because of the time he has been here he has never said things that he is saying bout his team and players

If this is how he truly feels, he has definitely grown up a ton in the past 6-8 months. Good story, Wes! +1

Great article Wes! I think Dooley's message this year has changed from "Don't expect too much" to "Don't be too surprised when we kick that a$$!!" At least that's what I heard through my Orange eardrum. GO VOLS!

Good stuff +1. There really does seem to be a different vibe with Dooley, the players and the fans. I just want it to translate to the field and I hope it doesn't change when adversity comes...and it will...this is the SEC.

Your exactly right iowa CDD don't sugarcoat he tell's it like it is like it or not you get the truth, and that's why when he say's he expects things are better then you have to belive it.

We are going to need them to be more mature and carry that swagger if we are going to have a good season.
