Right now, we could use smart, legitimate 4.45 speed in the secondary.

I know TN has at least two DB's with legitimate 4.3/4.4 speed in Deion Bonner and Daniel Gray, not sure how smart it is, and since one of them had trouble during his recruitment and since being on campus was a suspect of the same thing.

I think it is telling to see that CBJ and his staff see that we are desperate for CBs and Dooley sure didn't help to make a segway to get those.. It's amazing that this is a tremendous need for our football team and it seems like Dooley wasn't really involved in too many DB prospects..

I have to wander why DB is such a position of need?? How is it possible that both defensive staffs under Dooley missed out on so many DB prospects in which there were several recruited and several still on the team? Also is this move toward shorter DB's a result of going back to a 4-3 base alignment?
