Do I hear a decommitment coming?

Um, If he's looking for atmosphere and fanbase, then I'm assuming he's never actually gone to a Vandy game. I can hear Franklin now telling him about how great they are academically.....and how they have a big 'ole anchor painted on the field, and how......how.........uh, what else is there???

New Hope is one of the Madison County Schools just outside of Huntsville. They have not been a football factory for colleges but with the tremendous growth in Madison county due in part to the Base Realingment program( BRAC)upwards of 10,000 government jobs and government support company jobs have made big schools into large schools over the past 5 years. A highly regarded point guard from Madison high school signed recently with the VOLS and is expected to compete for the starting point guard this fall. That is just to say there are some good athletes comming out of the Madison County high schools and Ford is one of them. He got a lot of ink during the season from the local news.

If he's from Huntsville, Vandy is an easy drive up I-65 for his family. That may be to our disadvantage...

Not Ryan, but we are recruiting him. Trying for an OV, but haven't secured it last I heard.

He looks a lot faster than 4.5 or everybody else on the field run's 5.2 or slower. I know 4.5 is fast and alot of times people me included think if a kid can't run 4.4 or better he's slow but Ford looks good and I would love to flip another from Vandy and Franklin. I bet Franklin would pay half of Dooleys sallary if we would have kept him.

He's a true freshman. He will be a solid player. Much much better then the fail of the trio RB's we brought in, Watson, Hill, and Bourque...

Kimbrow is explosive and returned kicks this year. He will only get better, exciting player.

It's okay, I can't stand Vandy either, I hope we take Ford looks like a good player, film is of 4 star quality.
