Vols pushing, hoping for bowl bid

    Plenty of UT teams in the past and most likely many UT teams in the future would scoff at the notion of playing in Music City or Liberty of Birmingham Bowl. This one doesn't.

  • I still look for us to run up a big score on KY. Regardless if we lose to Vandy and Dooley is fired beforehand.I myself think we will Beat candy,but I thought we would beat Mizzou also.Course with everyone saying Dooley is as good as gone I look for all our prospects to make the jump,even though most of them are no where near ready for the NFL.Who could blame them ,I wouldn't want to start over with yet another staff eithier.

    Doolander has never won a game as an underdog. Not going to start this week either.

  • I truly hate it for the seniors, but I will be shocked if the Vols beat Vandy. Completely shocked. Vandy has put together some solid games this year on both sides of the ball. I am much more impressed with them as a whole team than I am with the Vols.

    IF Bray and others leave, it's not the end of the world. Look what having a record-breaking QB and offense has done for the Vols. Worley and the others will be competent. The missing pieces are good defense and solid special teams (kicking). Without those, this debacle will persist.

  • If the hire was Gruden, Bray and the others could get a gigantic boost in draft stock. The right hire could bring everyone back....
