Wes, would you consider another run at Gruden(I know, I know) or even the Fulmer nuclear option even remote possibilities at this point?

This is pathetic. Hart screwed this up so bad. He has NO plan now. Should've hired a search firm, would've weeded out all the crap. I'm embarrassed and we deserve better than this...

If not Davis or Golden, the Marrone could be a diamond in the rough. Wife is a 'Cuse grad so have watched quite a few of their games. They beat Louisville and Mizzou this year along with Pitt and South Florida.

Please don't try to sell Golden on the fact that other coaches think he's a good coach. Last I recall, Saban thought Dooley was too... I'm speechless about this situation and hurt for my alma mater.

It really is sad the level to which we seem to have fallen. I'd be thrilled with Davis and it's hard to see what we have to lose at this point. We've been turned down so much now, we probably need to make a significant offer to Fedora and make him say no. Otherwise Jones is starting to look a lot better. Maybe it's time to go sleep this one off, perhaps things will look clearer in the morning.

Clay Travis mentioned Fulmer with Chavis and Klif Kingsbury as Coach in Waiting and that's the first and only time I've been intrigued by Fulmer.

you know Wes there are some pretty good football coaches you listed there. sure not the sexy hire. and of course not one of our top targets. however, in the end it is all about getting the right guy and usually in these deals it is never the top few targets that end up with the gig (sometimes yes but many times no). who knows maybe some young dude like Jones or Golden just needs to get to a place like Tennessee. or maybe a vetern like Davis to come in right the ship.
the point is no we didn't get one of the top targets but it is not the end of the world. there are some quality football coaches on that list that would come here in a flash and probably want to be here more than any of these guys we have already danced with. and to me that is sometimes glossed over in the hype (how bad do they want to be at UT) and it shouldn't be.

I agree wth this and share the same sentiments. Bo Pelini...? Butch Jones...? Really?!
I just want to cuss, is UT that bad of a job? My we have fallen a long way since 2004 and before. Heck with it all at this point. Bring back Fulmer, keep Pittman, & Graham, bring back chief and tee. Call it a day. Tired of this ish show and now it'll be another week or more.
