Brewer doesn't really have the cover skills to play there. He's often a bit of a liability in pass coverage at safety, so that's usually not the type of guy you want at nickel.
Nickelback is more of a safety/cornerback hybrid. That's not Brewer.

Gotcha I do think he would be a good linebacker though because I always thought the one thong he does well is hit hard. I would say our top three linebackers will be Brewer, Johnson, and Sapp who was also converted from safety.

Agreed. I was a bit surprised that the experiment with Brewer at linebacker last year failed so quickly.

Wernt they thin at Safety and wasn't he rehabing a knee injury also why he had to move back there last spring?

They both need to be moved to OLB, we need the bodies especially since the one's we have are not big guys and will wear down. If you have more than you need thats a good thing. No shame in Brewdog moving down, its the one good thought that goon sunseri had LY of course he changed his mind two weeks later, dope.
