  • In recruiting where are we at running back right now? I know the last staff were pursuing two or three. Has CBJ visited any? I know keeping our RB coach smoothed things out a bit at RB. Who do you think is our best shot? Also of the RB's we have who do you think will come out on top with the new staff?

The top guy we're after without a doubt is Derrick Green and Alvin Kamara. Green is down to us and Michigan and is suppose to be visiting us in Jan. And Kamara said he would use one of his OV on us. Word is Green's mom loves CJG and Tennessee but we will all have to wait and see

As ZZ said it's Green and Kamara but I wouldn't be surprised if we have others we are pursuing. I don't often say this but I have a good feeling about Green and that would be a monster get. There I have jinxed us. As for who will come out on top next year, I think Lane started to come on late and showed why he was rated a four star. I think he just needed to get over the knee surgery and it takes some guys longer on the mental side. I'm a Neal fan but he seems to have limited vision and misses some opportunities to show his speed by making the cut to the open field. Having said all this it's entirely possible that a back the caliber of Green could come in and compete for early playing time. The kid is just flat good.
