Why can I not find anything on this kid about when he was coming out of high school, other than highlight videos? Obviously his grades weren't very good because he ended up going to JUCO but let's not pretend he was the first one that's ever happened to.
What class would he have been a part of? I've checked all 4 major recruiting websites and there is nothing on him in any of the 2009-2011 classes. (I assumed he would have been a part of the 2010 class but when I couldn't find anyting on him I started looking at other classes.)
I just don't understand. Every year there are always a handful of guys that it's pretty obvious they are not going to qualify academically but that does not stop these recruiting sites from evaluating and ranking them anyways. Perfect example, Camion Patrick. People have known for a while that he wasn't going to qualify and it's official he's going to JUCO now but you can still find him listed as an ESPN 300 recruit and the 51st best receiver and 11th best player in Tennessee by Rivals. (I did notice that 247sports no longer has him listed anymore at all, which may answer my question. Maybe the other sites just haven't gotten around to it. But he has officially signed with a JUCO, has he not?) My point being is that, while he's going to JUCO now, you can still find recruiting information on him from multiple sites.
Where is all the info on Patterson? I just can't imagine this guy not being a highly ranked recruit coming out of high school. Are D-1 high school prospects the only ones evaluated by everyone? I was just curious as to where he was ranked amongst his peers and I can't find anything.
I think he was destine for JUCO from the beginning- so he didn't get a lot of attention.
