If I remember correctly they ran a spread offense with a mobile qb and that's about it, but don't remember much about their defense. Aybody know much about what they've run?
Sorry I don't know what the run. But the led the NCAA in tackles for a loss.
It looks like he ran predominantly a 4-3 on defense (http://cfn.scout.com/2/1188877.html) and mostly a spread type look on offense, but it does look like he has run a pro-set in spots. Had a chance to watch the season recap of the Butch Jones Show (or whatever it was called) this evening and it was a pro-set offense at times with a bunch of decent receivers (remember Kenbrell Thompkins?), especially when he benched Munchie Legaux late in the season. He also talked about having 4 trick plays ready to call during each game, including the wildcat-to-jump pass play (Commando) that they ran early int he season.
In other words, I think he has a lot of options in his playbook once he can get it established.
looked up their rankings. Total d was ranked 31 and o was 45, but that was with the loss of Pead and a Qb quandry all year tifwiw
