Walking from Downtown Marriott to Neyland?

Has anyone stayed at the Downtown Marriott and then walked to the stadium?
How bad of a walk is it? Is it safe?

It's actually a pretty fun walk, because you can walk down along the river and the Vol Navy. I used to do it for every game two seasons ago.

I can tell you that it is a easier walk than coming from Cumberland

I agree with the rest of the posts. It's a nice walk. Head to the river and follow the riverwalk down to the stadium. Seems like it takes 20 minutes or so. It's a lot better than trying to drive and fighting traffic IMO.
