I found it very interesting that about 80 percent of the players on LA Tech's 2 deep were player's that Dooley and his staff recruited, and ironically one that had committed to UT for Dooley's first class, remember Dave Clark? Yep he's a starting safety for LaTech now. Remember the rebuilding project he had at that dumpster fire and how he always talks about making long term decisions. I've mentioned before that it has been said a good way to judge how a coach has recruited is to see how his players do after he leaves to se if he set up the program to win. It's no surprise that Sonny Dykes has been able to win with the players Dooley's staff recruited. I think it will be interesting to see how Dykes does next and then the next once he has a roster full of only his recruits if he can actually keep up this torrid pace that makes him seem like such a genius. Just remember that even with all the experience this team has it is still a young team. I believe some of the problems on defense can be a product of so many young players being forced to play right away out of necessity instead of being able to develope physically and in the weight room. Just my two cents.
