The CheckerBoard

This is a good post. I realize The Akron Zips are not world beaters, but the bottom line is that our team had a lot of adversity in the first half. Nothing was going well. However, we ran the ball well, something we couldn't manage to do against easy teams last yr (I.e. Montana, Buffalo) and the team fought hard for a victory when many things seemed to be going wrong. I keep saying this, but I just think this team needs one unexpected victory to get them over the hump. I'm not sure how you get them to put the past two seasons behind them and how them they can upset any team on our schedule. I just know that, once they cross that hurdle, this team will explode. Maybe Dooley needs to find a good Sports Psychologist!
