And I came out of it just fine...except for the twitch....and the limp,...and bankruptcy....and divorce...and the nightmares. Other than that, its all great now.

  • Sorry I'm late to joing the party Pepe , I was in the Navy before I went into the Marines .What was your craziest story from those times , normally they they start out with "When we went to ( insert name of country ) ........" .

    I really love these WW threads.

    Not to discount anyone elses, but I think you should do one EVERY week. You could maybe replace Wes. (sorry, Wes, you got too much other stuff to do anyway...)

    Thanks for the flattery, muskogee, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't have any stories that start like that that I can share on a public forum, pesky old statute of limitations still apply, sorry.

    2. Oh, wow, I've actually got several, believe it or not. Hmm, one of my least favorite would be when I answered a call for a possible prowler at a residence. I was walking around the house as the sun was coming up, and I noticed something that seemed out of place on the clothesline out back. There was a large black circle on the sheets hanging there. I walked over to get a closer look. At about a foot away, the black circle I was staring at jumped off the sheet and landed on my chest. It was a humogous bat, about the size of Cadillac Sedan DeVille, if memory serves me correct. Yes, I screamed like a 5 year old girl and swatted and danced like a lunatic. The bat flew away. I won. My underwear lost, though.

    3. I'm a non-violent person. Kirk Gibson is my 2nd cousin, I'll let him know you don't like him. I can't imagine punching someone in the face.....Bwahahaha, sorry, I couldn't hold it in any longer. Probably Lane Kiffin, just because he screwed UT so bad, and actually believes in his little mind that he left the Vols better off than when he got there...

    4. Yes, I have been known to watch the Duck Commander and Buck Commander crew. Pretty funny, but I wish they wouldn't do so many "set-up" situations...

    All I saw was "Wat would PepeVol. Do" He would say NAY, that's what he'd do...

    I couldn't handle it, too time consuming. I have noticed that this friggin' thread won't die, though. Every time I checked in for more BBall news or if we had another "game changing" commitment, this thread was green again.

    That's not that bad, but I'm anal retentive enough that I have to read and respond every time I notice it. Maybe I could block myself and I wouldn't see it anymore....Might be worth a shot!
