Oskie here. Now look what you've done: You've made me actually log on here and post something for the first time! This question made me laugh, and I'm glad Ghost told me about it. It was good fun writing at 3SIB, and once in a great while, I still feel the urge to post something. I take pride in the work we did there, as Brad said, on things like the Best Vols of All Time. My personal favorites were the historical posts that we did. I did a series on Alabama that I cry to think is unrecoverable. No offense to Brad's current web-residence, but I think we were the finest Tennessee blog around during that time.

I'd like to piggyback on Ghost and say that in my opinion bad luck and life got in the way. We continually had website and host problems, most of which were of our own making (design and huge spikes in traffic) and lack of finances. We blogged for nothing, and none of us were willing to pony up the money to buy our own servers, etc., which is what we felt it would take to do it right. The last straw (and it was my fault) was when I posted the pictures of Layla Kiffin's goodies. That post went viral, and it crashed us. I can't remember how long we were down, but it was weeks. Our host said we had to find a new home, and when we came back, we had stripped the panache away and were just a basic crappy wordpress site. I honestly would attribute our downfall to that one post. Had I never posted it, though, I'm sure it would have been something else. All the guys used to joke, "Oskie broke the blog!" Then, most of us started having kids and career changes, and it just wasn't as fun anymore.
