I wish you could have tried one from back in the 60's and 70's. They were the greasiest, saltiest, soggiest burgers ever....AND THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!! They still aren't "healthy", but back in the day, they were so juicy and greasy they would sometimes actually drip. I think they were officially listed as #3 cause of coronary blockage in Hamilton County in 1977. Growing up in Soddy-Daisy, we would stop at the Rossville Blvd Krystal every time we visited relatives in Rossville. When they finally got one in Hixson across from Northgate Mall, we were in heaven! We could be dunking our Krystals in chili within 30 minutes of getting the craving!

Does the 80s count as close enough? The Hixson Krystal is now across the Hixson Pike/153 interchange from Northgate, but it's still good. I usually fly into Knoxville because it's cheaper than either Atlanta or Chattanooga, and I always make that Krystal on Alcoa Highway my first stop. I do love their chili as well!!

alaska, when you were in Berea, traveling up and down I-75 (I assume), did you ever stop in Caryville and eat some Scotty's Burgers? Caryville is my much beloved hometown and the Scotty's burgers are legendary! A lot of grease and onions - can't be beat!

That's a tough one. Right now it's hard to say, given that Jones and the new staff are just now starting to reach out to recruits not previously on Tennessee's want list. It's going to take until after the dead period to really get a handle on how this class may change. As far as potential losses to this class are concerned, we really haven't heard much in terms of players wavering on their committment yet. The only real case of that was Zanca, who flipped to Duke and that was the end of the story. I think that a player like Ferguson would be a big loss if he decommitted, and possibly Camion Patrick (still some questions regarding his grades) as well.
