    Been through Shelby several times on the way to Charlotte but never had livermush.

    Played in tons of baseball leagues back in the day, but never played Legion Ball. It never seemed to have much of a presence in Knoxville.

    Next time you go through on your way to Charlotte send me a PM and I'll take you over to Alston Bridges and treat you to some good ol' Cleveland County Barbeque, Hushpuppies and Tea.

    Driven by it. Never been to it.

    By the time G-W started talking to me, it was the AAU season after my senior HS season, and I'd already chosen a future of sportswriting, partying and skirt-chasing over playing baseball, partying and having skirts chase you.

    In short ... getting up every morning to workout SUCKS.

    If by "bromance" you mean "tried to tell everyone since the final game of last season that Rajion Neal was the best back on this team by a country mile and now loves listening to some people painfully admit that I was right" ... then yes, it's a "bromance."

    Neil is a funny kid, though. Always fun to interview. And he has the most Atlanta accent in the history of Atlanta accents. So yeah, I enjoy speaking with the kid.

    (But I've also enjoyed interviewing players who weren't nearly as talented, and some of the most talented ones are the least fun to interview.)
