He does a heck of a job reporting things that are reliable and, from my experience in reading what he's put up previously, takes a cautious approach to "breaking" stuff. If he heard that Chongo was coming to UT, my guess is he had a very good reason (source) for that.

Things like this happen in recruiting; you saw it with Ghost a few days ago who had a very trustworthy source tell him something that turned out to be incorrect. These guys are all over the place talking to sources everywhere. Kids change their minds all the time, and it's hard to fault these guys when something turns out to be incorrect, particularly when it's related to recruiting. Who's to say Chongo didn't commit like JC said and then change his mind?

just as with anything, mistakes happen. my experience is that none of the 24/7 staff members report things just to be the first to report it. They do an outstanding job of verifying things before reporting them, and that's one of the reasons I pay for this site. I could get Vol rumors for free from any number of places.

Can't be 100% but seems like I read that the staff tried to contact him several times after his visit during his quiet spell and never got any response or returned their calls. May have still not heard from him, who knows.

I think your right Ryan somethings not right with Morris don't know if it's attitude or grades but with our need for OL's there must be a good reason, that said I trust CBJ.

Sorry, but the only team to "beat" for Carl Lawson is Auburn. Seeing that he's still committed to them and all. You would have to beat them out and have him open his recruitment. But he'll sign with Auburn, guaranteed.
