The CheckerBoard

I know this is difficult to answer, but what is going on with the defense in your opinion? Obviously swapping to a 3-4 has been difficult for the players to understand, but you would also think that Sunseri would at least know what the players can and can't comprehend by now. I was at the State game and the players look so confused at times. We obviously don't have the right personnel and losing Randolph and Maggit is hurting our play. We weren't this bad in Wilcox's first year and I went back and looked at Bama's and Georgia's first year in the 3-4 and they weren't nearly this bad. We are scoring enough to win games but the defense can't stop anyone. I want to believe it will improve if you give him a second year but I can't help but think that it just isn't going to get much better from what we have seen so far. I am one of the few that believes Dooley will and should get 1 more year, so I guess we will find out.
