Wes,
My main concern about Strong is his recruiting at Louisville. From what I've seen, his classes have ranked pretty low: (2011) 32nd (2012) 50th and so far (2013) 93rd! Is there something I'm not seeing and/or looking at wrong that would suggest he could recruit at the level needed to have Tennessee competing at the same level as the Alabama's and LSU's of the SEC?

Ok, I keep going back and forth on this, but here is my top three in order:
(1) Jimbo Fisher - I think he is a great recruiter and coach; but more importantly, I think this makes a NATIONAL splash because UT pulls FSU's Head Ball Coach!
(2) Charlie Strong - We need a little more "hot sauce" in Knoxville, and this dude brings it!
(3) Butch Davis - He can coach. He can recruit. He can win. Enough said.
I think Hart's first choice is Fisher, but it is not going to happen. He'd be CRAZY to leave FSU for UT...facilities and conference aside. So, my prediction is Charlie Strong. I say early next week we'll have a presser in K'Town, and I cannot wait to see him in UT orange! Go Vols!!!
