Several months ago I was listening to an interview with Alabama's Athletic Director, Mal Moore. He was discussing in some detail his "recruiting" of Nick Saban. If you want a coach like Nick Saban, who has the ability to literally turn around a fledgeling football program over night, you need an AD with the tenacity of Mal Moore. He literally would not take no for an answer...and did not let his ego get in the way of negotiations. In essence, it was, "what will it take, Mr. Saban?" And, "OK, Coach, you have yourself a deal!" There is no other coach in America that has UT on his radar that could turn our program around as quickly as Jon Gruden. Obviously, there are other very qualified coaches that I believe we could lure away from some other great programs, but the turn around would no doubt take time...something that so many of us don't have the patience for anymore. I mean, we have been irrelevant for the previous five years. So, my advice (if I can be so bold) to AD Hart, DO NOT TAKE "NO" FOR AN ANSWER!

wow this is pretty crazy. silence is our savior. this just shows how passionate tennessee fans are about there football. probrobly the most passionate fans in college football, actually they are. gruden is passionate about football. all signs point to gruden no matter what anyone says. he belongs in a football town like knoxville, tennessee.
