What about TX or the NFL?

  • I know there is all of this talk about Gruden and how he would desire to come to Knoxville, but I have to think that an opportunity like TX or the multiple NFL jobs that may be opening this year are very enticing to him. When you look at the likes of Dallas, New York Jets, Chargers, or even the Browns, those are all possible openings at the end of the year. Other than the "control" issue, why would he not want one of those jobs over a SEC job with much more demanding fans? Just my thoughts.

    Right now I support Dooley and the Vols and look for an upset this weekend!

  • According to Wes Texas isnt one of the jobs Gruden would take in college now the NFL is another story.

  • He has no connection to Texas and I hope (think) that he has enough confidence in his own abiities that he has no concerns about the SEC. If I were him, I would think "Hell, if Saban do as well as he has, I could own that conference.".
