All the speculation of good, bad, high,low rankings in the recruiting this year is really not gonna tell the story. It is no doubt the talent we retained is better than what Cincy had, and has already tasted the SEC. If CBJ & Staff bring in comparable recruits, and he can coach them up, then that will tell the biggest story. It is possible that they turn a roster full of 3 * players into a 4-5* roster by upcoaching, we can be as competitive as anybody. Also, with the past 3 seasons we've had, are most of the teams (SEC especially) really gonna put much thought into how good we are gonna be? Probably not. They will look at the recruiting rankings, and our previous success or lack there of, and and say ahhh, this won't be much of a fight. So the potential for us to be successful will lie with the element of surprise or the unknown factors this staff will bring to the table, as well as recruits that possibly slid in under the radar. Might not be the case, but I have seen it before.....powerhouse team has 3+ bad seasons, full of 3 kinds of h*** , and they get written off as low level competition.. New exciting staff comes in, does the best they can with recruiting, but doesn't land the big fish the past has afforded them. Come in and make huge statement by being a contender in their league and division, as well as nationally. Is this what will happen????? Maybe, maybe not! BUT.....what's to say it isn't a realistic possibility? IMHO we could be the sleeper team that shakes things up this season!!!!!! IMHO
