As good as Patterson is, do you think he ran the wrong routes tonight on a few plays. Worley was 7/9 and his only misses were a pass that hit Hunter in the helmet and the INT. He hit every other pass in the numbers. Also, with the way Marlin was running the ball do you think we should have pounded it a lot more. I will listen to what you guys think.

I normally wouldn't say this, but the last thing we wanted tonight was Bray throwing the ball. Also thought Worley did well. Not sure if the INT was his fault, but it could have been CP running the wrong route. The difference between Worley and Bray, was Worley was trying.

I agree we should have ran it more. Worley reminds me more of a McCarron type QB. He looks accurate, smart, and needs a good running back.

Yeah, I just heard that. I can only imagine how good he could be with another year of really knowing the offense.

Big Marlin Lane fan. Ran like a man against Bama and always seems to find a way to get positive yards. Not sure why we went away from him given Bray was off from the start.

Not in his best interest to go, IMO (unless the never attended class rumors are true), but think he's going anyway.
Incredible athlete, maybe the best I've seen at UT in the entire time I've been a fan (the early '70s), but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. JMO, but I think he's gonna have a hard time as a receiver in the League, because he'll have to read defenses and run precise routes.
I'll be rooting for him at the next level, though, because ultimately it helps us, and once a Vol, a VFL.

I think we should have ran the ball all night long. Could have set up some HUGE pass plays after a heavy, heavy dose of Lane and Neal and Patterson and even Beast Package. 3 and out after trying three straights runs against the defense would sit a lot better than after the debacle the was the passing game tonight.
