Scott got a DUI when he left UT and served a short stent in jail, so that will be an issue I'm sure.

Although I may not agree with all opinions, I try to respect them all, but it's hard to do when some people can't respect one's personal decisions. Some of you need to either think before you type things or go to the knoxnews site and post irrational thoughts! One of the reasons I have enjoyed govols247 so much is because of the mature, intellectual dialogue, but this thread..... not so much!!

Hoping to retain Hinshaw.. Weist wouldn't be a terrible hire, think WRs more likely to stay and play for Hinshaw. Also, first post, looking forward to talking some football with you guys.. Go Vols!

I'm biased as all heck because I know him personally, and have since he was at Sweetwater H.S., but Kippy would indeed be great. Father figure, great human being, smart, liked by almost everyone who knows him. If he's still as energetic as he's always been, he'd be a huge coup.
But I don't see him coming unless he is offered OC. He's been an OC in the NFL, so I don't see him coming to be a position coach.

Not to get off of the subject but heard today that Kliff Kingsbury, T a&m OC - is headed to Texas Tech to be the new HC. Just some SEC news.

I may be wrong ... It might be entirely on Dooley... But Hinshaws job as recruiting coordinator is suspect at best. Anyone else read the article in which 32/35 HS coaches failed Dooleys staff at recruiting? I'd just be happier with a fresh start but it would be great for one more young family to not have to relocate if he stays

wes let me ask you something this hire would it be fair to ask..if there was a timeline..either yes or no..24 hours for answer..we got to move quick
recruiting..days running out..instead of being drag on ..hire hinshaw back
close out with what hes recruited for us...we have been jerked around long enough
this team and incoming class..plus with kids decommitting..need committs

Thanks for your service. I'm stationed out in CA, but grew up in K-town. The Vols bring me home no matter where I am in the world. Good to see we are are getting back to a good place. I have been in for 10 years and always had internet, even though it is really slow on the ship. How did you keep up with the Vols before internet was available? Just curious.
