For me it's not the teams,coaches or players. I can even tolerate the New York based media fawning all over Notre Dame by ignoring them. It's the fans. They are insufferable and each fan base acts like they invented college football. I really can't root for either team.

I'll be interested in my reaction during the game. Right now I really want both fan bases to suffer and suffer hard.

I've hated both schools as long as I can remember, so my original wish for this game was that the Mayan Apocalypse would start on the field during the game. But after seeing some of the trash-talking coming from Notre Dame (and the t-shirts), I'm not rooting for Alabama per say, but I am rooting that the Crimson Tide takes the fight to Notre Dame and makes them wish they were in an FCS conference...

I'm going for the S.E.C even though I hate Bama. The way I see it is in a few years bama fans will count it as a NC win even if they lose. I'm still not sure if they lose count or just can't count. Either way I hate ND more.

I believe we should pull for the SEC. The strength of the SEC and it's dominance is what kept Florida and Georgia ranked above teams in other coferences with the same number of losses. The team needing a favorable ranking next year could be Tennessee. I've heard many people say it does not help Tennessee when other teams in the conference play well. I say that is wrong. Even in recruiting, the best players want to play in the best conference. We still have to compete with other SEC teams but we have an edge when recruiting against teams from other conferences. We play in the strongest conference in the nation and all the teams are improving. Reclaiming our place in the conference won't be easy but nothing worthwhile ever is. Go Bama. Embarass Notre Dame. Show the nation how football is played in the SEC.

I hope Bama wins since so many of the national media openly pulling for any team to beat any SEC team this year. I also think Notre Dame should have to play in a conference championship game to earn a spot in National Championship game. I hate the Irish, they get to much special treatment

I hate Alabama, but I despise ND. They are the epitome of arrogance. No other college team is guarenteed a slot in the BCS except ND. They refuse to join a conference and they continuously receive favoritism from the media and the NCAA. If I had my way, they wouldn't be allowed to play in any bowl game until they join a conference or at the very least were subject to the same rules that other independent teams are subject to. Yes, ND is at the top of my "crap" list. I hope Alabama hangs half a hundred on them in the first half and then another in the second half. Actually, I would only be satisfied if ND decided to forfeit the game after the first half. ND can SUCK IT!
