i grew up 20 min outside of notre dame and i hate them with more passion than i hate florida or bama.... i respect bama although i hate them i respect them.... they are a good team that always plays a good schedule they deserve to be there. notre dame on the other hand... has 2 decent wins all year and plays no one...and im so tired of my friends and yankees running their mouth about how good they are and "where is tennessee at" or tennessee sucks BS.. i hope bama runs a royal train on their hind ends.... no lube

My brother has been a Irish fan as long as I've been a Tennessee fan. His team is playing a team I abhor with every fiber of my being, so I'm vicariously a ND supporter for the BCS Championship.
I don't see why any Big Orange fan would want to see Saban and co. lift that trophy, under any circumstance.

I'm with you I'm in the heart of Big 12 country and I'm tired of the "SEC is overrated" talk , if I was still in the great state of Tennessee , I would be hoping bama would get embarrassed and destroyed , unfortunately I gave to cross enemy lines to pull for the blessed southland.

Great arguments but like many of you I HATE both teams. With that being said.. to a guy who cares for neither I will pull for neither. I can see benefits for us regardless of the turnout. This game might as well be Clemson vs Ga Tech. I don't care who wins I just hope it's a great game because it's the last big game for 8 months.

Grew up in Alabama & spent the first 22 years of my life there. Most all of my friends are Bammers, I'm even an alumnus, its ok to shake your head, i keep my friends close and my enemies closer, but I never have and won't start hoping that Alabama wins one single game. Especially a National Championship game. Ill be cheering for the green and gold, hoping there's a luckier team to tee it up than the tide. (Though we all know there's not.) Plus, I'm Anglican so that's close enough, right?

I hate Bama but I loathe and despise Notre Dame because of the special treatment they receive. My opinion on recruiting is we have always had to compete with Alabama for recruits and them winning will not change that. If ND gets stomped, some of the luster comes off that "Golden Dome". All that being said, the only thing I will pull for is a good game.
