Why all the trash talk against UT??

  • I continue to get laughs, jeers,& constant trash talk when I play online using the Vols against about any team I play. Granted, 90% of these dudes want to use Bama, Oregon, or USC, but my record is still 20-5 if you count all the times I've been beasting guys & they use the "end game" glitch where they don't take the L.

    Last game I played TX & the guy was talking so much smack about who the real UT was. Beat him 42-14.... What's your experiences out there Vol faithful?

    +1 for you my man. The guy I mentioned who used TX was asking me when has UT ever been relevant? I imagine he was a very young Longhorn fan who must have not been around when TX was irrelevant for about 2 decades before Mack Brown (a TN guy) took over. Yeah TX is a storied program, but I don't remember anything at all from them in the 80's & early 90's.

  • People love to hate Tennessee. And I love that about them.
    They hate our bright orange, our winning tradition, they HATE Rocky Top, and for some reason when Fulmer was around, opposing fans just could not stand him. People down here in AL still talk about how much they hated Phil. And most of all....they hate us.....the fans. Because we know we're a special program, and we let people know it.
    At least, that's what all the Bammers say down here.

    Surely you know why bammers hate Fulmer. He turned bammer in for paying $200,000.00 for a Memphis high school recruit. Instead of accepting responsibility for cheating they blame Fulmer. Of course we whipped their butts when Fulmer was coach too.
