Exactly, most kids these days don't want to try anything hard..... take the easy way.

I know they still have to work hard under Sabie....but they know they will be on easy street for a couple of years and then not have to be pounded behind lesser O lines....

Good point. We've seen what being a workhorse can do (Lattimore). RBs have a short NFL careers, why shorten it by being a collegiate workhorse?

To not take a beating for 3 years like you will at UT.

I agree with what everyone has said thus far in this thread. You also have to remember that with these elite kind of prospects, they don't care who is playing RB at a school they are considering. A lot of these kids are the best football players in their city and even state's history. Guys like Derrick Henry (who holds the record for most rushing yards in high school football history) don't care who is already at a school because of their egos. They think that they are the best and want to prove that they can beat out other elite backs. So they train harder. So what you get is 5 RB's at Alabama that could each be THE guy other SEC schools.
