Win against Florida becomes huge tonight

  • IMO with CJG leaving the university of Tennessee yesterday and all of "the sky is falling" thoughts the fan base had yesterday a win against Florida would be a huge shift in momentum to get the fan base in a positive light again and put the fact of CJG leaving on the back burner. With that said if we lose tonight go ahead and push that panic button repeatedly and lock self in dark room.

    fav i dont know about that.floridas bench is short and if we play even the first half and dont fall behind
    i think or bench out plays there's.

    Thanks for posting something! I was coming on here to do the same thing as I am PUMPED about tonights game!! I hate that it's on a Tuesday night at 9:00, but it is gonna be LOUD in TBA!! Can't wait to be their with all of my UT cheering friends. Yeah, I'm upset about CJG, but we gotta build a bridge and get over it!! All we're doing is deadhorse by talking and whining about it!! Let CBJ&Co. do their job and let's do ours by getting behind our teams (not just men's basketball, but Lady Vol bball who are #8, baseball who are still rebuilding, and even softball who are #4!!!)! GBO and BEAT florida!!!!!

  • Game of the year tonight, no doubt. This is our clearest shot at getting back into the tourney field. Would be a big win over a top 10 opponent, with all the ESPN cameras on us. Also keeps our momentum, confidence and winning streak going. Cant overstate the importance of this game. Lose, and i dont think we can make the tournament outside of winning the SEC tourney. GBO!!

    no doubt..Hopefully they've got their legs back after the A&M game. . crowd should be rocking tonight though. should be able to feed off that energy.

  • This is the biggest game of Cuonzo Martin's young coaching career. A win here will really get this fan base pumped up and show up to the Mizzou game. A loss here, and many will give up on this year and not come or care.

  • This is a must win! The only way this is not a must win is that they could win the SEC tourney and get an auto bid, byut lets be realistic about that...we haven't exactly performed well in the SEC tourney in rescent years. GO OUT AND GET IT! In my mind if this team wins out and wins 1 in the SEC tourney they are in. Florida and Mizzou at home will be easier than 2-3 tough teams (Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, etc.) on a neutral court to get in. Lets rock the Tommy Bowl tonight!
