I agree with a lot that Fedora has really moved up in my mind these past few weeks. I think we all forget that Tennessee is an easy place to win at so we don't need a home run hire you need a guy who will come in and motivate guys that's the difference in winnning 8 and winning 10 games and I think Fedora can do that. I think a lot of people can do that but I think Fedora would be in my top three.
Yes, good staff & understands the SEC, just need a strong defensive coach on his staff!
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama"
I'm a huge Tar Heel fan. Our site is reporting that fedora declined to talk to Tennessee's people. They are also saying we are going after some of y'all's recruits. I don't think y'all are gonna get fedora. I think y'all get gruden. If not him then y'all will get someone you didn't expect to get.
You want to keep most of the O staff? If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Get a Top DC and turn him loose. The answer is like a slow rising tide. There is one man who is rested, reinvigorated and a VFL. Think about what Bill Snyder has done returning to Kansas State. I and many others who have been around for a while are beginning to love us some Phillip Fumer.
Before you dismiss this, remember, he has been sitting by watching the pot boil for four years. He is very intelligent and loyal. He has seen his errors and could be even better now than he was winning a National Championship and SEC Championships. He is one of the best recruiters in the country. Maybe crow wouldn't taste so bad smoked and slathered with some top notch B B Q sauce. Name one candidate who has a resume' even close to his.
An Old Fart and loyal fan for over 55 years humble opinon and I am no longer alone. We are coming out of the woods and growling.

I am reading that UT has a quartet of Fedora, Golden, Fisher, and Butch Davis.. What?! No Mullen. No Strong. No Gruden. No Bellotti. No Stoops. I obviously know a lot less than the people making the hire, but to me any of them would be disappointing. Especially Davis with his shady past and Fisher with his underperforming.

Just spoke with Kevin, and he's gonna be out of pocket for the next couple of hours ago. He's trying to help his Dad of the Year Award candidacy by going to an event with one of his sons.
He wanted me to tell y'all he'll be back tonight to answer any questions, and to not think he was avoiding anyone.
I may or may not have promised to post this only if he admitted that Dusty Baker was the scourge of civilized society.

Your team. All the time.
BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
I don't know if Fedora would be a good fit or not ... is he a 7 1/4?
Here's something else I don't know .... maybe someone on here could educate me on the subject. Has Dave Hart ever hired a Head Football Coach? I don't mean a former Head Coach who came to FSU as an Assistant and then moved into the Head Coach spot .... but an actual Head Football Coach. If not, this may not be something that Dave Hart is going to be very good at ..... from a former basketball player's persepective (which if I'm not mistaken, is where Dave Hart gets most of his actual sports experience from).
I do know that when Dave Hart fired Coach Mark McHale along with Jeff Bowden (which can be likened to throwing the baby out with the bath water), Bobby Bowden responded by leading his team to the worst Win/Loss record in his 34 year coaching carreer ... and this was under Dave Hart as FSU AD.
I STILL think that Coach Mark McHale would be a great fit for Head Coach of UT's Football program
