He hired a HC while he was AD at ECU, IIRC.
OK .... so Dave Hart HAS hired a Head Coach ... who was ALREADY a Head Football Coach at a different college ... right? And how did THAT work out? The only reason I'm curious about this is because (apparently) Dave Hart has gone on the record stating that he would ONLY hire a replacement for Dooley who already has Head Coaching experience (which is a definition that I would assume almost every assistant college football coach has had at some point in their carreer ... and at some level .... including Coach Mark McHale)
Dave Hart hired Bill Lewis (who was formerly defensive coordinator/secondary coach at the University of Georgia) in 1988 (a VERY GOOD hire I might add) and moved then current ECU OC Logan to the top spot in 1992 when Lewis left (which was not seen as such a great move on Dave Hart's part early on, but it certainly improved with time).

Your team. All the time.
I have a friend who is a big UNC fan. He is a member of their Scout site. He said that one of Fedora's closest friends posts on that site weekly. He is saying that Fedora has no intentions of leaving UNC, unless it would be for the Texas job or the Florida job. So, any job openings he entertains are for the sole purpose of getting a raise in pay for his staff. Don't know if that is true but that is what one of Fedora's best friends is saying.
