I realize Croom has to have been pretty quick to be considered for WR in the SEC, but what kind of speed does he have? Is he a 4.3 guy like Calvin Johnson or closer to 4.5 like Jimmy Graham. Then again, Vernon Davis is a 4.3 guy as well. I think his speed could ultimately play the largest factor in where Jones and company will try to utilize him.

He's a stud as person, teammate, and player! He has remarkable agility for a player his size! I think he'll be a player that provides a lot of YAC yards next year as a big receiver. I think he would actually excel in the slot a lot. He could be a nightmare matchup problem. Of course he didn't know the offense like Hunter, but I believe his hands and run after the catch ability will have people wondering if he shouldn't have gotten some of Hunter's reps this past year.

I would think the spread gives Croom more chances. CBJ said that he will shape the system to fit the players. Croom, with his size, speed, and athleticism has got to be one of the players around whom this new offense will be shaped. Looking forward to seeing if he can live up to high expectations. Some recruitniks rated Croom as the #1 WR in coming out of Georgia last year.
