I have heard he is a tireless recruiter...Meyer called him "relentless" but hard to see really with his stops. Connection to Jones at Central Mich. WR coach at FL under Meyer. Solid hire it appears.

Only at FL for 1 year..........also was under Meyer at Bowling Green as a GA.

Love this hire... just a gut feeling. I think he will outcoach Hinshaw. No offense to Hinshaw... really liked him.

No idea.......one could be he might stay til after the Rose Bowl? Another could be its Arkansas.

Never said I didnt like him but the make up of this staff lacks ties to the SEC and that is a concern. Zach has spent 1 year at Florida and you don't know what kind of recruiter he is. This is far from the what Jones promised us in his PC abou.t having the best staff in America.

You need to let go of the PC statement........that was PC talk..........the best staff in America is whoever wins it all every year.....we had the best staff in 98.

Serious question do you thinK this staff scares any other staff in the SEC on the recruiting trail? Not a chance they do. Going to give them the benefit of the doubt but to blindly say they can recruit the south is something I aint doing.

wisconsin reported he will stay and coach in the rose bowl..then off to tenn..from what i just read

I dont think any staff is scared of another at this level and I would not even use that term.....sure Bama is the leader but it does not mean players like Tiny or Stone or Bowles that this staff is going to shy away from recruiting that player as hard as they can. Do you really think Jay Graham is afraid to recruit against any other coach in America? Look at North and Green.
Today there are so many good recruiters across the SEC and the whole nation and TN has the #1 budget in America to recruit and a product to sell esp if they win.
