Legions of the miserable

How many programs in the nation get majority of the game changing blue chippers? Very few unless you are UNC, UK, or Duke! The players that are really sucking are ones brought in by Bruce Pearl, aka Trey Golden, Skylar McBee, Cuonzo's guys give total effort all the time and are improving all the time. WIth the signing of Hubbs and Davis, they will be major players in the coming years and then the fortunes of Tennessee Basketball will change. Dont forget Maymon being out is killing this team on both ends of the floor.

P.S. We aren't exactly Duke or UNC here yet, we are Tennessee basketball. Zo is giving us about as much as we can expect with our rather limited basketball history that includes only one Elite 8. We have never had rosters stacked with McDonalds All-Americans and that doesn't happen overnight. Not sure what you are expecting?

I guess you forgot bout the 6 straight NCAA tournaments we went to before CCM arrived. We will not make it again this year and CCM will be on a very hot seat next year.

And what about the 20 or so years before that? Hey guess what guys, Bruce Pearl will never come back!

You gotta be kidding me !? I know he's not playing to his talent right now but stokes can play, the Reese kid will be solid, hubbs is gonna be able to score. Also I know there's no excuses if your on the court but some of these guys are not even close to healthy. I know everyone wants instant results and all but for every lighting in a bottle two year program changing coaching hire there are many many programs that took three or four years to do there thing. Tom crean at IU didn't get things going in there first two years, billy Donovan took over UF basketball in 1996, he had moderate success but it took a while to get things rolling, like almost a decade. Don't want to sound like I'm personally attacking anyone but all this negativity is un healthy guys. seriously what is so wrong in your own life to pile on a guy who is working his butt off to make our program better and your gonna kill him for one game, in a season when arguably his best player has not played a single minute. Not to mention the quality of kids he's bringing to the program make me proud. Pearl recruited thugs plain and simple I was on campus in his early days and my friends and I saw things with our own eyes that were shocking! Guns drugs robberies, all things no one should accept to win a GAME! Personally I thank you for your effort coach Zo and look forward to your success. now everyone just chill out please.

Where did I bash Martin I stated a fact, he will be on the hot seat next year if we fail to make the NCAA tourney again this year. To put it so that even you can understand what I am saying if we fail to make tourney this year, Martin will most definitely have to make it next year or he will be gone. Call it what you want it is the reality of the situation.
