People are going to be all over on this topic, and I think it will always be one that leads to conflict among Vol fans.

I, for one, hope he goes pro. I don't think that Bray has the quarterbacking qualities necessary for consistent success in the SEC. I think Tyler Bray is pre-Cutcliffe Erik Ainge, and I'm not sure he can ever become post-Cutcliffe Erik Ainge.

Every once in a while, Tyler Bray has the ability to tee off on a team (a la NC St., or Cinci) and absolutely bury them in a flurry of deep ball lightning strikes and howitzers to every other part of the field. But that isn't the norm and never will be, I'm afraid.

We've seen him grow up a bit, for sure. He absolutely melted down vs. UF this year, and that didn't happen again. He played well enough to keep us in a few games, but never was able to finish the deal. I know our D was miserable and did nothing to help him in the shootouts, but against UGA and MSU, Tyler coughed it up. He then proceeded to look pretty bad against Mizzou and Vandy.

I just think I'm done with his flavor of game. I want to have game managing QB with a good set of nerves and the ability to make one or two really good throws a game when needed, and is otherwise less of a liability.

It needs to be said that he's tough as nails, and has an incredible arm, but I don't think he's a natural leader and I haven't seen anything that tells me he's a winner. I want a guy who just flat wins when it counts and I think that guy might be #2 or #3 on last year's depth chart.
