my first post was obviously a joke..... i would probably go with your answer, because of Wilson's and White's leadership abilities..... I know reggie played in the 80s, but when we were good in the 90s we had a lot of on-field leaders that could keep their teammates in-check, on and off the field..... We have been missing that for quite some time....

The only reason i would not put Peyton in this category, is because QB play (Bray) is one of our strengths on the roster.....

These were the same 2 I was thinking. We need a dynamic back that can carry the load all season (we may have it on the roster but its not proven). We also need a D lineman and well Reggie White's number isn't being used right now is it?

I would want to see Kelly Washington back on the team, as long as I get a "The Da'Rick & The Future" reality show out of it.

Al Wilson, and anyone of the Colquitt family tree.

Hard to not choose some former elite defensive players we had but I think I will go with:

1. Peyton Manning- I think Bray is very talented and maybe has turned the corner as a leader but Manning is Manning. Hard to do it bc QB is not a position of need but I have yet to see Bray play 4 qtrs against UGA and USCe and he has not played 1 qtr vs Bama. IF you were to guarantee me that Bray was going to lead this team for all 12+ games this year and play like he did when healthy last year but with a greater understanding of especially the running game and how to get us into good running situations then I could see using my pick on the following*:

* I could easily take Dale Carter or Reggie White/Leonard Little or Al Wilson instead of Manning though.

2. Jamal Lewis- just over Chuck Webb and Charlie Garner. JMO in the SEC it has been Walker, Bo and then Jamal Lewis in regards to pure overall talent at the RB position. Everyone should be taking a RB with one of their top 2 choices IMO.

Underrated positions that are as of now seem weak on this team that could use a former great: Center, Kicker, and maybe S (next to Randolph) or a pass rushing WDE/Jack like Leonard Little.

Wish Nu'kese wouldnt have gotten in trouble.. He could fly and was a helluva playmaker

Due to lack of running back talent I would have to go with Jamal Lewis. He is one of the top 3 overall backs in terms of size and speed the SEC has ever seen. You can't argue with the numbers his freshman year/beginning of his sophomore year. Also you could go with Jeff Hall who never missed a clutch kick but for me I would go with Al Wilson. Could you imagine the damage a Wilson/Maggitt/Johnson LB crew could be? From a leadership stand point his presence couldn't be measured. A guy like that could keep some of your egos in check and be a huge assest as a mouth piece for a coach.
