Picking 10 players out of 22 is a difficult task. Although I'll have to say, I was surprised to not see Marlin Lane on this list.

Great perspective - if he does well we WILL be OK if not, it will be another long season again.....GO VOLS!!!!!

That's because Wes loves him some Raijon Neal. I actually agree with him because Lane isn't the clear cut #1 RB.

Just read some of the response posts on #2, Justin Hunter, regarding not choosing a tailback because one doesn't seem to stand out and the loss of one isn't necessarily detrimental to the team. That makes sense. Ryan, like you said, for all we know Bourque could come in and blow it up. Great series you guys.

Ryan and Wes explained it pretty well yesterday. None of the RBs on the roster have distanced themselves from the pack, and since one of the rules of the list is "no group awards," that precludes a RB being on the list, even though RB is a very important spot for the team.

Great series Wes. I try to keep an open mind and not get so caught up in what could lay ahead for the Vols this season but its very difficult. For the first time in years i feel like we have a real shot to contend for the East and get back to Atlanta and in the top 25 again.

Surely 2 of our best players won't get hurt again this year. That was certainly some bad luck for us (fans) and them. I really believe this team is going to shock some of the better teams in the SEC and the nation will take notice. If we can start out 3 and 0 all I can say is look out.

I think we have other QB's up there that are able to handle the situation. I can't help the way I feel about Bray. What he done last year. But I hope for his sake he's grown up and be the type player I really thought he was. He has everything a QB needs, now just go out there and be a leader. I'm behind the coaches all the way and I'm behind Bray. I just hope he has grown up

Hope your right Orange I to think Neal (if he can hold on to the ball) can be a very good RB he has the speed and size you want in a SEC RB. Hold on to the rock Raijon and help carry this team as far as you can.

Great series Wes! Didn't really see any surprises in your list but can't really disagree with any either. The board has been busy today because this thread was toward the bottom of the page and it took me a couple of hours of catching up to get to it. I'm very optismistic and I'm rarely very cautious. Looking forward to the season. GO VOLS!
