  • I hope one of these guys step up this season, the first few years I was really falling in love with the vols we had Lincoln, then palardy last year, I'm ready for a decent kicker, and I hope it's palardy, if not, I hope CDD throws bullock in the mix, there is no way he could be worse than Lincoln or palardy last year.

    JC is a VFL

  • As an aside, I sure hope Bullock is the kid in the middle of the picture, and not the kid in the black windbreaker!

  • The kickers have got to come through this year, b/c I feel we are going to be in a lot of close games.

  • Wes, would you say that the consensus between your sources is that Palardy has the edge on FG/PAT accuracy at this point? My main concern is not distance, but the ability to place foot accurately to the ball, and then ball accurately between the uprights. How would you say the competition stacks up as to kicking accuracy between our players?

  • As the father of a top tier kicker some years back, it's all about icewater. In the viens and the ability to isolate ones senses. By this level, if you are on the squad, you have most of the technicals down. You don't need a coach, you need a shrink.

waveWelcome to the CheckerBoard clrstory! Your post is probably pretty accurate. I want to believe that the change in the kickers' S&C will net big rewards this year. Put it thru the uprights Vols. GO VOLS!
