We have the talent back there, it's just a matter of who stands out the most. I would love to see Brewer back because it's nice to have someone that can hit like he can to intimidate the opposing WR.

    My guess at the next 4 are: #4-Kicker #3-CB #2-DT #1-RB

I just don't see RB being that big of a battle.. I'd be surprised if it isn't 1) Lane; 2) Neal; 3) Young but it will be a battle nonetheless.

I also don't see any way Couch loses his #1 spot in the rotation or any way McCullers isn't #2. Should be 1) Couch 2) McCullers

Kicker and Corner obviously I agree with could be a battle.

The reason I have SS at #1 is because there's not a clear front-runner for the starting job... could be any of 4 players and there's not another position on the team where more than 2 players are fighting for a starting position.

I guess I'm looking at it a little differently than you as far as rotations go. I think RB and DT will both be heavily rotated and somewhat specialized for the guys we have. I could see Hill or Borque(sp?) getting into the rotation this year. With 3 guys already looking to be the feature back, I consider that a battle. And DT is similar as, according to the coaches, we will be running multiple fronts. I wouldn't expect McCullers to play at all in some of the nickle or dime packages, but he'll probably be our man in the 3-4 sets if he lives up to the expectations. Couch isn't really the best option for a 3-4 DT, but he can probably get the job done and is, I'm sure, considered to be our best interior lineman overall. But I think that rotation is going to be a real battle.

I just love that we have options now.

It's been a while since UT's been able to say that, eh?

I think it's #1 mostly because of the lack of production there last year. I agree with your order of Lane, Neal, and Young. Again, I just see this as the primary battle because we HAVE to get better at that spot as our number one priority. I think it will be tailback by committee though.
