Just got home from driving on the Blue Ridge Pkwy from Asheville to Boone NC. Scenery was amazing. Stopped off in Blowing Rock, NC for some shopping and eats with the wife.

Today's Steeler throwbacks are the worst uni's in the history of the NFL.

Nothing actually hit Anchorage - it was all concentrated between northern British Columbia an a spot about 85 miles SE of Sitka.

Those were awful.

If the Steelers keep playing the way they played today, I hope they never quit wearing those uniforms.

On a negative note, I think that "masochism" could be redefined as watching these Vol Network game replays these past few weeks.

On his way to a 5th MVP

Great to be back home after a 3 night getaway to the camper with my wife. A pretty much football free weekend, at my wife's insistence. No computer and crappy cellphone reception. Was driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway during the last half of the game. But I was carrying my football(see avatar) as I was driving. I hold it every game and have for years. I take it with me to games. My wife thinks I'm a dork(she said so on the Parkway). But I pull for my Vols and toting that football is part of it. If luck don't change soon, I may go back up to Mt. Pisgah and throw it off the top. Had a great weekend with the Missus. Good thing since my high school, college, and pro team all lost. Oh well, we'll get 'em next week. GO VOLS!
