I really don't understand why they have to drop so much salt on the road for one to three inches of snow. It's crazy. People just need to learn how to drive instead of me having to wash my cars off everytime.

people learn how to drive???????? that is asking a lot and will never happen... You should have seen what it was like in VA this fall when we lost power bc of Hurricane Irene for a few days.... All the stop lights were out, and i would say less then 10% of the drivers here understand what a 4 way stop sign is....
Very frustrating, annoying, and dangerous,.....

So at this point I've basically been awake for 33 hours straight, flown 5000 miles and four time zones to Tennessee, and it feels just as cold in Knoxville as Alaska did last night. I need a drink...

I thought we only did that in North Carolina. Careful when the local channel says this weather update sponsored by Food City. Just like if you look closely, beside every pothole is a sign that says "This pothole sponsored by Joe's Wheel Alignment."

Nah, he didn't earn that. He did eat one earlier, though, and he approves. I did something I NEVER do and bought a mix. Normally make everything from scratch, but I didn't have time. It feels so dirty to take shortcuts.

I just made 4 dozen heart shaped cookies and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my sons pre-k Valentine party. Those little ones probably won't eat any of it!

Actually, it's been above freezing for the last week in Anchorage. They just got more snow this afternoon (when I was in Detroit), so no, I'm not responsible for this. I would blame Canada though...
